ATTENTION TOM HIDDLESTON FANS.
PLEASE READ. THIS POST IS AN OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT CONCERNING THE TOM HIDDLESTON MASS TWEET EVENT.
Over the past few days, there has been a lot of concern and arguing breaking out over the plan to mass tweet Tom Hiddleston. Originally, the tweet was going to be “Ehehehehe”. Since then, those who have been organizing the event established a poll, which officially changed it to “Your army is ready”.
Previously, all-hail-king-loki and others have been attempting to organize this event in order to turn it into something positive, rather than something that will either bother or inconvenience our dear Tom.
DUE TO THE WIDE-SPREAD CONCERNS EXPRESSED AGAINST THIS EVENT, THE PLANS HAVE AGAIN BEEN CHANGED.
For all those concerned about my authority in posting this, all-hail-king-loki (who, unfortunately, ran over the daily post limit) has given me permission to give the announcement. This is in an effort to satisfy both those who wanted to express their love and support and those who believed, for fair reasons, that a line was being crossed.
THE ESTABLISHED ALTERNATIVE IS THIS: WE WILL NO LONGER BE TWEETING THIS MESSAGE DIRECTLY TO TOM HIDDLESTON. This has been the primary issue raised by those who predicted problems with the event. Instead, we will be using the old text “Your army is ready”, tweeted WITHOUT the direct @ to Tom, with the hashtag #hiddlestonsarmy.
I understand that we do not have the right to dictate the actions of others, and that this change can therefore be viewed as an offered alternative rather than a rule. Some of you who liked the old plan will most likely still go through with it. While we advise against it, we’d ask that you also tweet this non-@ message in addition to your own in order to aid in the trending attempt.
TO CLOSE: We urge all involved, concerned, or unsure participants (and even those who were against this) to assist in spreading the word, either by reblogging or linking this through your own posts. Even if you choose to continue with the old idea, please help to alert those who may want to change their plans.
This plan is a good plan. This is a better plan. I do like this plan.
Yes. THANK YOU.
