Hello, one and all. I come bearing good news— A Hundred Days of Night has just seen its first update on Smackjeeves, the site on which eme and I will be hosting the comic on!

The prologue of six pages (and yes, it’s written, boo, letters, but the comic shall be starting shortly, not to worry) is now uploaded for your pleasure, along with two lovingly drawn illustrations depicting scenes from the prologue itself. We are very excited about this, and we hope the anticipation hasn’t been in vain. Regular updates should begin sometime next week (the latest being the week after that), and from there on in, it’ll hopefully be smooth sailing. 

So, without further ado, I present to you the beginning of A Hundred Days of Night, and pray that you’ll love our cast as much as we do. They’re a colorful bunch, influenced by both our interpretations and the countless stories we heard as children.

Howl’s Moving Castle as a live action movie

Howl looked at the ceiling, but he did not argue.They took their stately way into the streets of Kingsbury. Sophie of course looked back to see what the castle was like here. She saw a big, arched gateway surrounding a small black door. The rest of the castle seemed to be a clank stretch of plastered wall between two carved stone houses. “Before you ask,” said Howl, “it’s really just a disused stable. This way.” They walked through the streets, looking at least as fine as any of the passerbys. Not that many people were about. Kingsbury was a long way south and it was a bakingly hot day there. The pavements shimmered. Sophie discovered another disadvantage to being old: you felt queer in hot weather.

Val makes the last sprint to take cover behind the crates as he sees Maya recklessly charging against one of the batarians, once again. She doesn’t see another one aiming at her, but Val does, and his biotics detonate him before the batarian has time to recharge. When they’re done with the enemies, the vanguard flips her hair and says she didn’t need any help…of course she didn’t…

The three men surprised her while she was working on the house garden, and they laughed about how her tall man wasn’t at home and how unfortunate it was. She eyed them up and down, still holding the little shovel, and zapped them with a lightning. No one steps on her cabbages.

I’m kind of doing homework and I was whining because I’m on my period and I wanted sweets… so Linn left the room and when she returned she had a bowl, and then she went and dropped chocolate on me and my bed…? 

And then she threw herself on my bed too? With the chocolate? And started to laugh maniacally? 

And now she’s hugging the bowl because “Aw yis motherfucking chocolate rain”? 

And looking at the bowl like is some kind of offering to her viking god? 

I’m swear I’m so fucking done with her.
